Painting With A Twist is a hands-on art venue that combines camaraderie and creativity, allowing guests to create a painting under the direction of an experienced artist during 2 or 3 hour sessions. And, if you want to bring the whole family, kid-themed paintings are scheduled on the weekends. The studio offers both public classes, where the template painting is predetermined, and private parties, where the host selects his or her painting from a database of over 2,000 paintings. The collection is a melange of different styles and topics; some come from Painting With A Twist artists around the country, while others are famous artworks, such as Van Gogh's "Starry Night." Although pre-sketched canvases are sometimes prepared for the most difficult paintings, most guests start with blank canvases.
The company has nearly 70 locations throughout the United States and is one of the largest employers of local artists in the country.
